PC-60 Features
Now with 600 dpi print resolution that produces photo quality
output, stickers, small posters and signs can all be produced
in vivid color. It can also be used for illuminated signs
and heat transfer decals for garments. Gold and silver spot
colors are also available on the ColorCAMM PRO.

ColorCAMM for true to life full-color
The main requirement of a color printer for signmaking
is the ability to produce impressive prints that last. ColorCAMM
PRO employs an advanced full-color printing system to make
both photos and text appear vibrant and razor-sharp. Cutting-edge
print technologies are used to realize a resolution of 600
dpi, with "micro-interlocking" print and "Color
phase shifting" resulting in photo-realistic color
printing.
Light-fast, water-proof and scratch-resistant
To meet these rigorous conditions for printing, we engaged
in new research for the ColorCAMM PRO starting with the
ink and succeeded in developing a resin-based pigment ink
that is UV stable and is waterproof while maintaining good
color quality. Because of ink-to-media surface adhesion,
the ColorCAMM PRO prints have excellent scratch resistant
characteristics.
Six ink cartridges with ACS Technology
As many as six cartridges at a time can be installed in
the PC-60. The ColorCAMM PRO automatically detects the presence
of the ribbon cartridges and their color. On-board robotics
allows the machine to automatically select a cartridge to
print.
For example, if a design requires CMYK 4-color process
printing plus gold as a spot color, all you do is install
the five cartridges required, in any order, and the machine
will select the correct cartridge automatically when printing.
You can even install more than one cartridge of the same color,
when the machine has exhausted one cartridge it will automatically
select the next. If it exhausts a cartridge and there isn't
another one installed, the PC-60 will notify you that it needs
a replacement of that particular cartridge and will automatically
resume printing once replaced.
Cutting for professionals
One machine - multiple functions.
This is a printer and cutter in one, and the cutting quality
of the ColorCAMM PRO is equivalent to any professional vinyl
cutting machine. Equipped with a curve-smoothing function
to cut arcs smoothly and quickly, a 0.025 mm/step resolution
and adjustable cutter force of 30 gf-200 gf, it boasts many
features from top of the line vinyl cutting machines. Built
around Roland's proven cutting technology, it is a fully-functional
cutting machine.
Mid-Format 24-inch media capability
ColorCAMM PRO allows the use of media from 2"-24"
(50-610mm) wide to be used. A maximum print/cut output width
of 22.5" (571.6 mm) makes this one of the widest thermal
transfer devices on the market. The PC-60 is compatible
with a variety of media, it works best when combined with

Maintenance-free and easy to operate
To provide stable, long-term use, a maintenance-free design
has been introduced. Head cleaning takes place automatically
for consistent color output at all times. It is easy to
operate and has an automatic power-off function that conserves
energy if the unit is idle for more than an hour. It also
employs an "intelligent" interface that automatically
selects the interface being used to transfer data from the
computer. These and other features allow the ColorCAMM PRO
to be used to its fullest immediately, straight out of the
box.
Drivers for Windows® 95/98/NT for compatibility
Drivers for Windows® 95/98/NT come standard, making it
possible to print & cut using Corel Draw! and other
graphics programs. Equipped with new dither patterns, the
highest quality printing is always obtained. Also the designation
of special colors such as gold and silver can be performed
easily with the driver.
